Use case / Job seekers

A CV that answers the recruiter's questions.

A recruiter gives a PDF a few seconds and moves on, often with questions the page never answered: which tools you actually used, what your part was in that project, whether you could start next month. An interactive CV lets them ask in their own words and get the answer from what you wrote.

Why a PDF alone is not enough

A one-page CV forces you to cut the details that make you a good fit. The recruiter cannot ask a follow-up without arranging a call, and most never do. The context exists, in your project notes, your portfolio, your longer resume. It is just not reachable at the moment someone is deciding whether to shortlist you.

What to upload

Start with your CV. Add one more document with the detail that did not fit on the page; that is what makes the answers useful.

  • Your CV or resume as a PDF
  • A longer portfolio or project summary
  • Certificates, training, and the tools you use
  • Your availability, notice period, and preferred way of working

What recruiters can ask it

Answers come from the documents you upload. For anything they do not cover, the chatbot is instructed to suggest contacting you directly rather than guess, so write down the things you want to be asked about.

  • What did you do in your last role, specifically?
  • Have you worked with SQL, Figma, or SAP?
  • Which project are you most proud of, and what was your part in it?
  • Are you open to remote or hybrid work?
  • When could you start?
  • How can I contact you?

Where to put the link

Askoo gives you one public link and a QR code. Recruiters open it in the browser, with no app and no sign-up.

  • The header of your CV, next to your email and phone number
  • Your LinkedIn profile, in the featured or contact section
  • Job applications that ask for a portfolio link
  • Your email signature, and a QR code on a printed CV

Be clear about the limits

  • It does not replace the interview. It helps someone decide to talk to you; it is not that conversation.
  • Do not upload your ID number, home address, or anything you would not put on a public page. The link is public.
  • Like any AI, it can occasionally phrase something imperfectly. Ask it a few questions yourself before you share the link.
  • When your CV changes, upload the new version. It answers from what its document says, including when that is out of date.

Try it with your own document.

Upload one file and you get a working Askoo page on a public link, with suggested questions and your contact buttons. Ask it a few questions yourself before you share it.
